The Road to Change

People are dynamic; we are always changing in relation to one another and to our own understanding of who we are. At times, we struggle to understand why we feel the way we do, or why we keep doing things that hold us back. Psychotherapy can uncover our emotions in a way that deepens our self-knowledge and leads to honesty, growth, relief, and positive change.

In our work together, we will look at your thoughts, feelings, relationships, needs, aspirations, experiences, dreams, and at all the things you bring with you to therapy. All of this helps me see you, which helps you see you, too.

I am a good match for creative people, and for people who want to do the work of uncovering, recovering, and discovering. This is a queer-affirming and trans-affirming practice, welcoming LGBTQAI clients, and their families and loved ones.

(What’s with the road metaphor? Freud said: “The interpretation of dreams is the royal road to a knowledge of the unconscious activities of the mind.” Dreams aren’t random, and they don’t have to be inconsequential. They’ll help you figure out where you’ve been, where you are, and where you’re going.)

PLEASE NOTE: I am currently providing psychotherapy, supervision, and consultation using videoconferencing.
